Chocolove - ok but the loaf is small and the slices are thick.  The chips taste like BBQ.

Lower layer: tuna, egg and olive tapenade sandwiches (OK) and a pointless shotglass of lukewarm green pea/dill soup.

Second tier: two savory (onion) scones with onion jam. WTF.

Top layer: slightly stale desserts and....

this is literally one of the worst things I have ever tried to eat.  It is charcoal panna cotta.  Tastes like sugar and is very gritty and inky black.  After eating here, Joanne and I felt sick. I wasn't even sure if I could drive.  It was that bad.

In other food news, here is the Kanata location of Mandarin Buffet Chinese restaurant under construction in the food basics parking lot at Kanata Town Centre.

August 2017 Ogdensburg Oddities

Took a visit to Watertown, NY.  Sonic drive thru cheeseburger and oreo flavoured custard concrete.  The custard concrete is like a milk shake but way thicker.  Burger was bland.

I found this recipe online for lemon butter garlic chicken.  Holy cow, it was a keto or paleo recipe that used 1 stick of butter and 1/2 cup oil.  I left out the oil but the butter was disgusting.  I threw it out.
