I tried to assemble my own pizza using a premade crust and Rao's pizza sauce and ham and 2 kinds of cheese.  The sauce was not good!  Salty!

My bro made pork tocino.  It was pretty tasty.

Both of these were horrible. Orchard apple & cinnamon Crispy Minis and birthday cake flavoured Oreos.

These Jurassic world cookies were kind of tasteless but the Chin Chin Aloe Vera drink was delicous

Walmart is trying to compete with the Aldi brioche.  The walmart one sucked.

The Cheesecake Factory is now making candies. I gave these to my coworker friend and did not try.

President's Choice has come out with weirdly flavoured pizzas. I didn't try this one because my brother ate it.

Brett's Ice Cream in Kanata North.  You can't go inside.  You just order at the window.  I had a chocolate shake which tasted good but was too small relative to the high price.

Walmart snacks: English bonbons and Sizzlin Sweet & Sour Pringles (tastes like General Tao)

I went to check out a new Chinese/French bakery called Oui8.  It has very short hours so I was lucky to get in before closing time.  This random assortment (5 items) was around $20 or $25. WTF. I won't be going back there, based on price and taste.  The 3 items I tasted so far were substandard (not enough sugar and wrong texture).  I suspect the chef is putting her own spin instead of using Candian-style recipes.

Finally I also tried the "Fruity Cone" from Chocolats Favoris new Kanata location.  It was waffle cone with chocolate ice cream, fresh strawberries and liquid milk chocolate on top which hardened on the drive home.

Aug 2018 Ogdensburg Oddities

Donuts were bland but at least individually wrapped

We had to throw out the potato salad without eating it.  The muffin mix was crumbly!

Nilla Banana Pudding cereal tasted like corn pops plus fake banana extract

I could only find these two of the new Lay's flavours.  The bacon wrapped jalapeno popper was bland and the Chesapeake Bay crab spice tasted like celery.

These popcorn balls were $0.50 each.  No flavour other than sugar.  Would not buy again.

Graeter's ice cream came in a fancy container but it tasted like non-gourmet ice cream
