I found this at foodbasics. It didn't taste like roses much at all. More like cardamom.

I ate 2.  Too spicy. Not as crunchy as the TGIFridays type.

I brought this one to work to compare with the oreo thins.  Thumbs way down!

Ox Head 2 opened up. About the same as the original Ox Head.

uncooked fish tacos from Hurley's. My fork couldn't flake off 90% of the fish so I ate around the edges.

Thai Express.  This stir fry was disgusting and oily and slightly sweet.

This is what Tim had at Thai Express.. Bean sprouts with chicken. Remarkably, he gave it a 7/10.

Dole Mixations and Fruit 'n Pudding.  These were both disgusting. Do not buy.

Roar: this is like gatorade mixed with coconut water: OK
Brownie Brittle: DELICIOUS
BBQ Veggie chips: OK

new soft drinks.  1893 Ginger Pepsi: DISGUSTINGLY STRONG FLAVOUR.  Did not try the others yet.

Little Muffins Blueberry.  OK but tiny and way overpackaged.

A Coney Island hot dog from The Corny Dog in Barrhaven. It was pretty gross - bland chili, shredded cheese, and a giant boiled hotdog for $9.  I even saw the employees slice the dog and grill it - but this made no difference to the taste or texture.

Their poutine was also BLAH

Whippet Brownie Sticks: gross flavour and texture

Canadian ginger pepsi. Not as gross as the USA one but still not good.

Grilled quinoa sandwich from Amuse restaurant. It was OK.  I think the guys liked their food more than I did.

These ice cream popsicles taste good because they also have jam inside.  But the price is too high.

Philly cheesesteak and fried chicken from Crispy's.  According to reddit, their fried chicken is the best.. but according to me, it does not have the zing of KFC or Popeye's... although it is extremely crispy.

Carrot cake hershey's kisses. Ick. I'll bring these to work.

Armour Treat.  This  makes me so grossed out.

Prediction: both the Hormel beef tamales in chili sauce and filled cupcake oreos will be disgusting.

New springtime Milano flavours: banana chocolate and orange chocolate.  Might be OK.

Doritos mix taco explosion.

Sara Lee tries to rebrand Vachon Flaky and Ah Caramel... I wonder if they are suitable to American tastebuds.

Pillsbury S'mores and chocolate lava mini pies. BARFF

The freakiest seasonal item of the month: if you like Shamrock shakes from McDonald's, you might drink TruMoo mint flavoured milk. Ick

Chipotle BBQ flavoured cheese curds. ewww

Kellogg's cereal to go - fits in your car's cup holder - Imagine driving while eating handfuls of cereal.  Seems messy.

Mucho Mango Arizona drink - just tastes like sugar

Skyr, the Icelandic style yogurt. It is thick like Greek yogurt, but tastes better.   But I wouldn't buy it again.

I bought these Otis Spunkmeyer mini muffins out of curiosity. I am pretty sure cookies from that company used to be given out on flights.  The muffins were extremely sugary.

Sensible Portions garden veggie chips: I did not eat any because my bro ate them all!

Natura fortified chocolate almond beverage: it is as chocolatey and sugary as chocolate milk.

 I bought this potato spiraler from the internet.

These Gardein Pocket Meals (fake pulled pork flavour) are disgusting!  It tastes like what a magic marker smells like.

February 2016 Ogdensburg Oddities

Finding Dory, the most shiny and beautiful cereal box I have ever seen.

Sargento Balanced Breaks: Assemble your own snacks and save money!

Dominiex? Eggplant Cutlets: Very greasy

Welch's Fruit & Botanical.  I tried the Cucumber Watermelon one. It was very diluted and the cucumber overwhelms the watermelon.  It does give me a good idea to make my own, though.  The strawberry one was gross. It tasted like diluted grape juice.

Lay's Korean  Barbecue: tastes like hamburgers but a bit sweet.  Gave me an enormous MSG headache that night.

Red Velvet oreos: HORRIBLE.  The applesauce cups and grapefruit cups are great.

Lay's Smoked Gouda & Chive: tastes nothing like smoked gouda.  Mostly onionish.  Ruffles Classic Hot wings: tastes nothing like buffalo wings. It tastes like barbecue chips but a bit spicier.

 Chef Boyardee Chicken Alfredo: Ewwwwwwwww

Welch's 100% juice unfiltered.  The blackberry and the grape seem to taste identical.  At least it was on sale.

I got this at Costco. It is pretty good.
