March 2016 local items

Skyr, the Icelandic style yogurt. It is thick like Greek yogurt, but tastes better.   But I wouldn't buy it again.

I bought these Otis Spunkmeyer mini muffins out of curiosity. I am pretty sure cookies from that company used to be given out on flights.  The muffins were extremely sugary.

Sensible Portions garden veggie chips: I did not eat any because my bro ate them all!

Natura fortified chocolate almond beverage: it is as chocolatey and sugary as chocolate milk.

I bought this potato spiraler from the internet.

These Gardein Pocket Meals (fake pulled pork flavour) are disgusting!  It tastes like what a magic marker smells like.

No bake banana split cake for pi day.  Here is the recipe: http://www.letsdishrecipes.com/2013/05/no-bake-mile-high-banana-split-pie.html

Raspberry milk chocolate shake and tuna sandwich from Cacao 70.

First non-gross President's Choice product I have eaten in a while: Mini Jamaican Beef Patties

Trying to save French's factory.  Garlic ketchup is OK.

Nagaraya Garlic Cracker Nuts: not bad

Weird holiday foods and other new products found in Canada

Now that it's November, a lot of weird Xmas type foods are appearing in stores

Breton Artisanal Cranberry and ancient grain crackers - they are very salty and grainy but sweet because of the cranberries.  I feel like I keep getting corn meal stuck in my teeth.

Walmart Our Finest Thick Cut Savoury Stuffing flavour potato chips.  They kind of really do taste like stuffing!

Almond Crackers from South Korea.  They are pretty crumbly but good.

Pop chips veggie chips - they taste weirder than regular pop chips.

Gardein crispy fingers chipotle lime - too spicy but the texture is pretty accurate.
