May 2018 Local items

This is a Cobb salad from a food truck called Urban Cowboy Eats.  It parks at the 19th Tee mini golf.  It was ok but left me hungry, and as you can see, the chef wasn't careful about the lettuce (brown worm holes on 3 pieces).

I made Rice Krispies squares with Fruity Pebbles.  I liked it and so did 1 coworker but most others did not like.

This time I used chocolate Lucky Charms cereal

We went to Pham Le this week.  Just fine! Two thumbs up.

Strawberry lemonade is just fine.  Ripple drink is gross, like drinking pea protein shake

Onion soup from The 3 Brewers. It was ok.

Nachos from The 3 Brewers. They were kind of dry and crumbly.

Sweet & Spicy lays.. the bag says it's a flavour fusion but it doesn't say of what.  Not so good.  Didn't taste anything like chicken wings

Canada Dry lemon ginger ale. It was ok.  I will bring the other 11 cans to work

March 2017 Ogdensburg Oddities

Chocolate shamrock shake. It didn't taste much like chocolate or mint.  Mostly just sugar.

First visit to Potsdam, NY

Finally I decided to drive to Potsdam, NY, which is about 20 minutes away from Ogdensburg.  Turn left at the abandoned Ford dealership and stay on this road (#68) as it goes thru Canton (and becomes #11) and into Potsdam. I was surprised to see two universities in the area!  The Walmart Supercenter there was kinda big... but still not that good in terms of variety.  I saw a lot of disgusting items.  Nothing worth buying.

Cookie Pop popcorn? No thanks!

New Lays flavours: West coast truffle fries, Southern biscuits & gravy, New York reuben, and Greektown gyro.  I didn't dare to try any of them.

Peanut Hottie - Is there really a demand for a hot peanut butter and chocolate drink?!?!?

Green Boiled Peanuts!  The South's Favorite Snack!

Pop Tarts Frosted Blue Raspberry - the taste is normal but they are hard to eat.  The opaque blue slime is very unappetizing.
