Iced Tea Battle

 I saw these Ocean Spray iced teas in Food Basics.  The cranberry white peach one was pretty good due to being full of sugar and not tasting at all like cranberries.

Regular cranberry iced tea was OK but not as good as the peach.

Gatorade Glacier Cherry - just OK.  Would not buy again.

 In the summer I found this new type of Nestea at a gas station convenience store: Blueberry Mint.  OMG it is delicious.  I have started buying it in cases.

Finally I tried the Nestea blackcurrant iced team.  Not good.  The blackcurrant flavour completely overpowers any tea flavour.  I feel like I am drinking wine gums.

Aww yeah.  The Farm Boy Organic Iced Black Tea with Meyer Lemons was on sale and I am so glad I bough it. It is the closest thing to American sweet tea that I have found in Canada.

Lowertown Brewery

This was my 2nd visit to the Lowertown Brew Pub.  It is just OK.  Kind of in the category of tourist traps.

ou8 bought us these smoked chicken wings with BBQ sauce.  They were a bit spicy but pretty good.

Watermelon salad.  The watermelon was kind of old and it just had a bunch of onions in there.

Potato and bacon salad.  It was 99% giant potato chunks... and onions.

The Greenbelt sandwich. It was ruined by liquid smoke flavour. I couldn't figure out where the flavour was coming from, maybe the tomato slices or the spread on the bread. 

Joey's Urban visit, company bbq, and new chips

For my birthday lunch I went to Joey's Urban, a new fish taco and poutine place.  The taco on the left was a delicious fish taco.  The taco on the right was bad, Vietnamese flavour, with hot sauce and dark meat.  Each taco is $5.

Here is the Nacho poutine that Yanrong ordered. It was delicious too.

Here is what I chose at the company BBQ.  The ribs really grossed me out, especially once I saw the bone marrow showing. Ick.  But the rest was good.

These Lays cowboy bbq beans flavoured chips were pretty good and caused  vivid dreams.

These Lay's P.E.I. Scalloped Potatoes chips were boring. They tasted like any other cheese & onion flavoured chips and did not cause any vivid dreams.

Tastes just like President's Choice butter chicken frozen dinner.  Enhhhh thumbs down!
